Two Musicians, One Heart For Storytelling…

We’re Tom Mottershead and Jack Barclay: two friends and singer-songwriters based in Brisbane who share a passion for telling stories through music. Our journey started with a simple idea: that love stories deserve songs as unique as the people in them. What began as one wedding song written as a gift has grown into a calling, creating music that captures the beauty and emotion woven into each couple’s story.

Between us, we’ve created songs for more than fifty weddings across Australia and beyond. Tom’s music has reached over a million streams worldwide, while Jack’s heartfelt vocals and signature guitar style have been recognised by The Courier Mail in their article “Destined for Songwriting Fame”. But what matters most to us isn’t the numbers, it’s the moments. The tears, the laughter, the look between two people when they hear their story in a song.

Our Christian faith shapes everything we do. We see music as a way to reflect the love and creativity of God - a reminder that every love story is sacred, and that art can speak to the heart in ways words alone can’t.
